Audax

Audax. A dedicated formula
for every application

Audax comes in 8 formulas covering most processing needs. Each is tailored to specific materials and temperature ranges.

Audax is a solid purging compound made of a pre-mixed blend of granules, ready to use. It cleans through mechanical action using high-viscosity polyolefin polymers, mineral fillers, and foaming agents. The foaming agents increase the internal pressure inside the barrel, allowing the high-viscosity resins and minerals to reach dead spots within the barrel, nozzle, and hot runner, effectively removing residual polymer pigments and other contaminants. Audax operates at processing temperatures from 160°C to 320°C and is available in 10 kg containers.

Advantages
  • Cost reduction: 50%–85%
  • Lower raw material waste, defective parts, energy use, and labor costs
  • Reduced opportunity costs from lost production
  • No abrasive or corrosive components
  • Non-toxic, solvent-free, with all ingredients GRAS-certified
  • Suitable for both low- and high-temperature resins
